The Thuma also comes with its very own wooden PillowBoard, a neat yet fully functional alternative to the mainstream headboard. This contraption is also carefully designed and crafted for optimum function and comfort. It comes with a relative low-profile design, allowing throw pillows to be easily plumped onto the platform for a more elegant and plusher look. The PillowBoard features tapered foam fill that is covered by a pebbled linen weave fabric made of 100% polyester for better support.
Forming the supporting structures for the Thuma are the double-strength slats that run the entire cross-section of the frame. The wooden slats are dutifully lined with recycled plastic-constructed eco-fi felt. The design of the slats requires no bed skirts or even box springs as the support it provides to your memory foam mattress is simply phenomenal.
