Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
Samsung continues to lead the way in mobile technology. Its all-new Galaxy Tab S5e packs smart features that can make for excellent entertainment. It’s more powerful, lighter, thinner, and built for the ultimate in mobile connectivity.
At only 0.22 inches thick, the S5e is currently the world’s thinnest tablet. It is thinner by about 0.02 inches from Apple’s iPad Pro 10.5. It also comes with very thin bezels for a remarkable 81.6% screen to body ratio. The display still retains Samsung’s Super AMOLED with 16 million colors, however. But with 10.5 inches of display, the Tab S5e offers better personal entertainment. Too bad, it cannot bump its pixel density to more than 300 ppi.
Inside its thin chassis is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670 chipset providing the base for its Adreno 615 GPU. This is also the framework for its 2 cores of 2.0 GHz 360 Gold plus another 6 cores of 1.7 GHz Kryo 360 Silver. This gives the Tab S5e a total of 8 cores for optimum computing power. Memory-wise, the new Samsung tablet comes in either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and mated to either 64 GB or 128 GB of storage space.
Conventional tablets are not known for their cameras. But the S5e features an 8-megapixel selfie shooter and a 13-megapixel rear camera. The rear camera can also shoot videos at 2160p resolution while the front shooter can do so at a lower rate of 1080p.
This gadget also comes with excellent audio. It comes with Dolby Atmos technology driving 4 Harman Kardon speakers. It also comes with all the sensors you can expect from a high-end tab including a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
There are still some areas in the Tab S5e that Samsung can improve on. But for a thin and lightweight tablet, this is as good as it gets.
