The latest rendition of one of the most popular training shoes on the market launched this morning, bringing a sharp, tactical flare perfect for the gym, trail, or everyday wear.
Reebok has just launched the newest version of its tried and tested Nano X1 training shoe. This time, the shoe has been custom designed through a collaboration with Rothco, a tactical and outdoor clothing brand that focuses on highly functional, military-style apparel. Rothco brings its signature camouflage pattern and rugged detailing to the shoe that sets it apart.
Reebok Rothco Nano X1 Rothco: The Basics
The Nano X1 is among Reebok’s most iconic fitness shoes. It already comes in dozens of colors and styles, including a vegan fitness shoe that launched earlier this year. The shoe is a cross trainer that can hang in for tough workouts, or provide a comfortable walking shoe to wear around town. With help from Rothco, Reebok will add Ultra Violet Camo, Red, White, and Blue Camo, and City Camo to the lineup perfect for military types or those with a penchant for the outdoors.
This camo, though, isn’t exactly made to be hidden. While Rothco got its start in the military world, they have made significant inroads into the larger lifestyle and fashion markets. Celebrities including Rihanna, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Billie Eilish have all been spotted wearing clothing from Rothco, among many others.
The new patterns on the Nano X1 provide a loud, vibrant canvas built for comfort and ready to turn heads that could see similar nods in celebrity circles.
In addition to the camo color patterns, Reebok also added thicker laces to the shoe that mimic paracord, in keeping with the definitive style Rothco has crafted since 1953. They also feature a pull tab on the heel and webbing made from the same material that Rothco uses in its tactical bags, for an even more pronounced, rugged feel.
Specs
The Reebok Nano X1 Rothco shoe features a lace closure and textile upper. It features an EVA midsole, and rubber outsole, and is built with Floatride Energy Foam for comfort and cushion.
How Much?
The Reebok Nano X1 Rothco is available starting Wednesday for MSRP $150. If the patterns available aren’t exactly your cup of tea, Reebok says another footwear silhouette is on the way in the fall.
