PICO Planter – No Green Thumbs Required.
If you’re anything like this writer, keeping plants alive indoors isn’t your forte. They always die or begin wilting, and it would be so much easier if they just told me (and you) what they needed. Black thumbs of the world, it’s time to rejoice. We, too, can join the ranks of our green thumb friends with the PICO planter. PICO is a self-contained garden that automatically waters your plant and provides it sunlight, no matter where it is in your home.
Grow Anything, Anywhere
You can place PICO anywhere because it has multiple mounting options. You can hang it on a wall as a hanging planter, set it on a flat surface, or use magnets to affix it to a fridge or other magnetic surfaces. There are no subscriptions with PICO or additional lingering costs, simply choose your plant, add it to PICO, plug PICO in, then top the water off once per week; you’ll have a healthy, thriving plant in no time. Your green thumb friends will be so proud when you show off your kitchen herb garden or your living room aloe vera. PICO makes growing plants in your home – regardless of light or your ability to understand their need – simple and easy.
Design
PICO features multi-spectrum LED grow lights mounted on a telescoping arm to simulate sunlight and allow the plant room to grow, regardless of the light conditions in your home. You can attach PICO to your desired area via velcro, a wall mount, or a magnetic mount. PICO’s light is charged via a USB-C cord, and you can even connect up to three PICOs at once.
PICO is self-watering; the transparent viewing window on the front shows you when you need to refill the central water basin. From there, PICO gives your plant as much, or as little, water as it needs – no guesswork involved. PICO comes in four unique color colorways, so there’s bound to be one, or multiple, that fit your home.
PICO is available through Kickstarter; you can purchase up to 15 PICO planters to turn your home into the urban jungle of your dreams. You can even snag up extra accessories or a countertop herb garden while you’re there. PICO starts at just $34 for a limited time, with the regular MSRP slated for $45. Shipping has begun, so there’s no wait to finally have that indoor flora you’ve always wanted but just didn’t have the green thumb confidence to try.
