You can remotely lock and unlock the door any time you want via the accompanying app, and receive notifications whenever your pet uses the door. Additionally, you can set a curfew so your four-legged buddy does not go out in the middle of the night.
The Petvation features AI-powered cameras and smart sensors that detect when your pet is approaching. It’s also able to recognize common unwanted guests like raccoons, squirrels, skunks, foxes, and more, and deny them entry to your property.
The Technology
Two sets of high-resolution infrared cameras are installed in the door frame. Both cameras have invisible fill-in night vision lights, and one of them has 120-degree wide-angle lenses on both sides, giving you the best visual range for monitoring.
Petvation employs three separate safety mechanisms that work in tandem to keep your pet safe, which we can all agree is the most important thing. Quick-response sensors detect when the pet approaches and passes through the door. The anti-pinch mechanism ensures that your furry companion’s paws or tail are never caught. And the third one is the self-diagnosis system making sure everything functions flawlessly.
And being that this is a smart home device, you can change, adjust and monitor everything remotely, via the mobile app.
