The LEGO Creator Expert HD Fat Boy Building Kit aspires to stay faithful to the original design of this cruiser. Instead of the Evolution and Twin Cam engines, LEGO opted to include building bricks for creating the 2018 Milwaukee Eight engine model. It is one of Harley Davidson’s largest twin engines. LEGO utilized elements in its System and Technic lineups to recreate this massive motorcycle engine. It comes complete with moving pistons to make it more realistic.
The Danish toymaker also made accurate representation of the Fat Boy’s Lakester wheels. It comes with beefy tires and one of HD’s signature design elements – a teardrop-shaped fuel tank. The brake levers and gearshift pedal are also movable. The LEGO HD Fat Boy also comes with dual exhaust pipes, kickstand, built-in speedometer, and handlebar. All of these add realism to the building kit.
The LEGO Creator Expert building kit contains 1,023 building bricks. When assembled, the Fat Boy measures 12 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 7 inches high. LEGO is already throwing away a display stand so you can marvel at your very own creation.
