GORUCK has launched a new collection of custom training gear and apparel honoring veterans and families affected by the September 11th terror attacks. The collection features multiple products, including limited runs of 9/11 rucksacks, shoes, and shirts emblazoned with a “Never Forget” patch. All proceeds from the GORUCK Never Forget collection go to organizations that honor the memory of those who gave their lives fighting for others.

GORUCK Never Forget Collection: The Basics

GORUCK creates products designed for “rucking,” or walking or exercising with a weighted backpack. The company offers gear, clothing, and workouts that help people incorporate rucking into their lifestyles.

Rucking requires tough, durable backpacks capable of withstanding the force wearers put on them, whether wearing them on their backs or using them as free weights. GORUCK likes to say their rucksacks equate to a gym on your back, and they’re right.

The latest Never Forget Collection incorporates that toughness with a bright blue logo that reminds wearers of the sacrifices made by those who died or risked their lives during the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, along with the men and women of the armed forces who have since taken up arms.

Never Forget Support

All proceeds from the GORUCK Never Forget collection will be donated to support veterans and families affected by 9/11. Half of all proceeds will go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and a half to the Travis Manion Foundation. For reference, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the sacrifice of New York Firefighter Stephen Siller, who rushed into danger and gave his life-saving others during the attack. The Travis Manion Foundation honors the United States Marine Corps 1st Lt. Travis Manion, who died in Iraq while protecting and drawing fire away from the other members of his patrol during an ambush in 2007.

Both organizations work to honor those who gave their lives by promoting memorial events and building leadership and character in communities throughout the country.

GORUCK Never Forget gear currently available includes the Ballistic Trainers (MSRP $145), GR1 26 liter (MSRP $345) and Rucker 20 liter (MSRP $205) rucksacks. The Rucker is priced at MSRP $205. Never Forget T-Shirts are also available for $25, along with a hoodie for $35.
