Fire 7 Tablet
The Kindle Fire 7 promises to deliver more than a superb e-book reading experience. This Amazon creation delivers enough improvements over its predecessors that can make it a tablet for the whole family.
This Amazon Fire tablet now features a faster processor that clocks in at 1.3 GHz. It comes with 4 intelligent cores from MediaTek’s 8163 with a gigabyte of RAM. It is enough to provide you with the performance you need from today’s tablet devices. You can also get the new tablet in either a 16- or 32-GB internal storage. If this is not enough for you, then you can always put a 512 GB MicroSD card.
The Fire 7 tablet comes with a modest 7-inch IPS display with a 1024×600 pixel resolution for a pixel density of 171. It is not as high as the resolution of modern smartphones in the range of 450 to 550 PPI. However, it is more than adequate to provide you and your family a very pleasant viewing experience.
Because Amazon designed the new Fire tablet with the whole family in mind, it integrated the Amazon FreeTime in the programming of the device. This allows parents to create profiles for their children. It gives them the chance to set their kids’ educational goals by allowing them to manage what their kids can and cannot access.
There is a 2-megapixel shooter, too, both at the front and rear of the device. It has a battery life of 7 hours. It already comes with Alexa preinstalled. Unfortunately, this Fire tablet does not come with 4G connectivity. You will have to rely on wireless internet to enjoy digital streaming content.
The technological improvements of the Amazon Kindle Fire 7 may not be enough to displace true-blue multimedia tablets on the market. However, it remains an excellent e-book reader.
