Born overseas and bred in California, Billy Brown has travel and adventure in his blood. With a variety of fitness certifications, he’s used his background to power everything from heliboarding in the British Columbia backcountry to leaping off of waterfalls in a dormant Panamanian volcano.

Over the last decade, Billy has tested gear around the world and covered it for a variety of publications. He combines his sports background with a deep knowledge of tech to parse out the best gear for making the most out of every situation from everyday life to hair-raising adventures.

When he’s not traveling, he can be found at home in Sacramento, California with his wife and two cats.
