ASUS ZenBook S13
The Asus ZenBook S13 is an elegant and truly breathtaking piece of laptop that has currently the planet’s slimmest bezels to give it the world’s largest screen-to-body ratio. The S13 is not only sleek and sexy, but it is also powerful, too.
In an effort to evolve the conventional notion of beauty and power, the ZenBook S13 exudes both. It comes with the remarkably thin 13.9-inch display that features NanoEdge technology for a 97% screen to body ratio. The ultra-slim bezels are no bigger than 2.5 millimeters on all sides, giving you an almost edge-to-edge immersive viewing experience. You can consider the S13 as your infinity pool of laptops. And if you think the super-thin bezel will be utterly useless without a webcam, Asus managed to squeeze in a topper.
Because of its slim bezels, the ZenBook S13 is about 12.5% smaller than the previous models of 13.9-inches. For instance, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe measured about 329 mm x 214 mm while the S13 only measures 316 mm x 195 mm. It is also very thin and light, measuring only 12.9 mm at its thickest section and tipping the scale at just 1.1 kg or about 2.4 lbs.
It may be small, lightweight, and compact, but do not ever underestimate the power inside the ZenBook S13. It already comes with Intel’s latest 8th generation of Whiskey Lake processors in either the i5 or i7 configurations. That’s more than enough computing power for even the most complex programs in the world. Mated to the board is a discrete graphics card from Nvidia, the MX150 that is exceptional for really demanding creative tasks.
The form factor of the ZenBook S13 alone is enough to make you want to have this baby on your lap. Considering that its hardware configuration is formidable, too, then it’s always a great buy.
