Pics, Or It Didn’t Happen
The Instax Mini Link 2 portable printer lets you decorate any photo from your phone before you print it. You can choose from a variety of frames, filters, sketches, and stickers to add to your pics and make them more unique and vibrant. And with the INSTAXAiR feature, you can also add bubbles, petals, glitter, and doodles by drawing in the air. You can also record a video of the drawing and share it as a printable QR code.
There are different fun printing modes you can choose from, like INSTAX-Rich Mode if you want more vibrant colors on your photos or INSTAX-Natural Mode for a more neutral look.
The device comes with another fun feature named the Match Test. You can print a photo of you and another person and the app will analyze your compatibility, and print your score on the photo. Are you 1 or 100? Only the photo can tell!
A minor inconvenience is that the printer works with INSTAX MINI instant film only and you need to buy it separately.
The tiny printer comes with a rechargeable battery that’s good for about 40 prints. You charge it via a standard micro USB port, which is a little disappointing given that Europe will make USB-C mandatory on all electronic devices by 2024.
The Buy
Available in space blue, soft pink, and clay white finishes and with a price tag of $99.99, Instax Mini Link 2 certainly is a fun little gadget, though a bit on the pricey side.
