Thule Easy-fit CU-9 Tire Chains

While permitted use of chains is state-dependant, we’ve never even considered putting on a set given the headache involved, at least until seeing Thule’s Easy-fit CU-9. Wrapping these chains around your tire and pushing down the pedal with your foot is all that’s needed before driving off – the chains and bar optimize their positioning once the wheels start spinning. The chain itself is made of hardened manganese nickel steel alloy and the bar of aluminum for durability, though with Thule involved we’re not too worried about these giving out.
