What proportion of the smartphone market Blackberry’s (RIM is no more) latest snags remains to be seen, but the Z10 is as real a contender as any. This sleek 9mm-thin device packs a 1280×768 4.2-inch touch display, 16GB of internal storage (plus a slot that reads microSD’s up to 64GB), 8MP rear-facing and 2MP front-facing cameras, advanced connectivity – LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC – plus a dual-core 1.5ghz processor coupled to 2GB of RAM. More importantly, Blackberry 10 OS looks to be leaps ahead of its predecessor in functionality and intuitiveness.
