If you’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on an iMac, now’s the time. Apple trimmed the desktop’s edges to a radical 5mm and slapped an ultra-thin glass layer over each individually calibrated 21.5″ or 27″ IPS LED display, reducing reflection by 75%. Performance-wise it’s no slouch either, packing an Intel Core i5 or i7 quad-core processor, (up to) an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX, 8GB of 1600mhz DDR3 RAM, an optional Fusion drive – part SSD, part spinning disk – and an HD FaceTime camera. One thing we’ll miss: the optical drive.
