Click & Grow’s Smartpots aren’t your run of the mill plant growing kits. For one, they run on batteries. The upside is that the Smartpot will take care of virtually everything else, requiring you to do nothing but refill the water (once a month) and change said batteries (once a year). Better yet, if keeping track of all this seems too demanding, don’t fret: the indicator light flashes blue when water’s lacking and red when the AAs need out – otherwise, a green flash confirms that everything’s A-OK.
