Typically, barefoot skateboarding just isn’t a good idea, unless you’re alright with having your soles exfoliated (best case scenario), or you’ve got a SoftSkate. Made from the same EVA foam used in sandals and surfboard traction pads, the grip tape on these pads is cushy, durable and (most importantly) grippy. Shoes on works too, of course, but it won’t be easy going back after experiencing that extra feel.
