Battery life remains at 7 hours, an achievement considering that Apple shaved off over 1 pound (weighing in at 4.46 lbs) and cut the thickness by nearly a third (to 0.71 inches). Goodbye optical drive, you won’t be missed (OK, maybe sometimes).
