We’ve long held off from writing about ice sphere makers due to exorbitant prices (sometimes over $1K), but Tovolo’s new ice sphere mold makes 2.5 inch spheres and costs less than the next three or so drinks you’d otherwise ruin with regular ice cubes. Spheres have lower surface areas than other shapes per given volume, thus melting slower, lasting longer and looking cool (sorry…) all the while.
