Sven Saw
Sure, it’s not quite as small as the pocket chainsaw, but the more versatile Sven is a bow saw that packs safely into its handle for easy transport and weighs in at 16 oz. Perfect for felling trees or making firewood while backpacking, though carrying one in your glove compartment/day pack/anywhere else it would fit might not be such a bad idea, what with the impending zombie apocalypse and all.

i’ve used both sven saw sizes on multiple backpacking trips. this is a MUST HAVE for you backpackers out there. it makes quick work of nearly any sized down tree. It works flawlessly in the rain, leaving it out accidently in the freezing weather, whatever the conditions. (i prolly sound like a commercial for this thing, but i seriously wouldn’t go backpacking without it).
