While you might not know it by looking at our black on black fixies, we prefer staying visible when riding at night, which ends up happening a lot more often than we’d like. The Blink / Steady is a drop dead simple, install-it-and-forget-it taillight perfectly suited to our irresponsible- and forgetfulness (and of course our love of machined aluminium). Blink / Steady has no buttons; instead, an accelerometer activates the twin 0.5W LEDs upon detecting motion, providing nearly 180 degrees of rear visibility, while two AAA batteries yield enough juice to run the light for 200 hours. It’s also less prone to theft and waterproof, something that cereal-box bike light you’ve been using can’t boast about.
