The SpareOne definitely looks intriguing with its clear battery window and Apple-esque white body. You might be disappointed to hear that it’s a cell phone, but it’s main selling point is nothing short of miraculous: a 15 year battery life. Somehow cell phone standby time went from maximum a week or two to over a decade – we don’t understand it either, but the SpareOne definitely has many uses, particularly as an emergency phone where you can pack it and forget it. You can even dial 911 without a SIM card, like with other phones. Talk time when you actually use it is about 10 hours.
