Self-Adjusting Petzl NAO Headlamp
It’s about time a self-adjusting consumer headlamp hit the market. The NAO’s built-in light sensor allows for self-adjusting brightness levels to prevent blinding light from bouncing back and hitting your retinas when you look down at a map or other nearby object. The headlamp’s got 2 LEDs, one that takes care of wide lighting while the other is focused for visibility over longer distances, and is Petzls brightest headlamp yet, pumping out a brilliant 355 lumens at its highest setting. Rounding out its feature list is “OS by Petzl” software, allowing for full customization and adaptability of NAO’s settings.
Coming in July 2012. Read more over at Petzl’s website – 175$.
