Bored with your current guitar options? Take a look at this one. Praxis Guitars, founded in 2011 by Andrew Benson, aims to make custom guitars a little more affordable, starting off with a bare neck and frame. Add in the electronics and you can make a custom body, or turn anything into a guitar (even a textbook, as they’ve proven).

A little too hands on for you? They also produce the fully functional Praxis Zero (pictured above), with optional laser etching. Guitars are produced by CNC milling in the USA and are highly detailed and jaw-droppingly awesome.
