Shimano Ultegra Di2 Electronic Shifters
Shimano’s been doing a great job in bikes for a long, long time. If only every industry had a “Shimano”, more customers would be satisfied (and less stranded with nearly supportless Hp Touchpads *cough*).
The Di2 is their latest release to the consumer market, their first electronic shifters (or at least the first that we can almost afford). Instead of battling friction as you push a lever that pulls a cable which then pops your gear up or down, just click the lever as you would a button and it’s done for you, faster, with more precision and never sends the chain off the cogs – something we can’t claim about ourselves.
Visit Shimano to find out more, or Engadget for a review – a little over 2000$.
