At first glance, these appear to be normal, genuine leather Burton gloves, primed to stay dry with DryRide Insane Membrane and a microfiber inner lining. Now you’re obviously waiting for the punch line: there is none. Nothing to see here, move along.

In all seriousness these gloves contain a wireless iPod/iPhone remote to control your music on the slopes. The remote has a 100-foot range and is also removable (thank you, Burton!), so you can also use it to control the music in your pad, in your car, or at the hipster-infested frat party you’ll be attending next week.
